Lylius Private Campsite:
Lylius Private Campsite is the perfect destination if you are looking to leave the city for a nature escape. This private campsite is located under the tree canopy, in the forest with beautiful shaded areas and secluded spaces.
The site is made for tents, gazebo and open air camping. Camping equipment and tents are not provided Not suited for caravans or camping trailers . The campsite is set up in three secluded sites on each side of a stream with two rock pools joined by small wooden bridges. This site is booked by one group at the time only. The site has its own private Lapa with full bathroom (shower, toilet and basin) and cooking area with table and chairs for meals. The site is powered with two electricity points at the lapa. Activities on the farm: Fishing, Birding, Hiking and MTB (bring own equipment).
Wood available for sale (R60 per crate)
Pet friendly with prior arrangement with us. The site is not fenced off form the rest of the farm. Pets are not to be left alone on the property. Off grid experience with no cell phone reception or signal

each site is served by its own Lapa with cooking area and private ablution (toilet and shower)

Jungle Gym (kids play area) common to all areas.

Suitable for caravan, camping trailer, tents, gazebo and open air camping (bring your own equipment).
Easily accessible via a (smooth) gravel road and large open area to park your vehicles as needed.

We stayed at the private forest campsite, and it was beautiful! Tons of birds to watch, shady spots and well looked after grass areas. The ablutions are well looked after and clean. Kitchen area is great. Great communication from the host Lydia who made extra effort for us.
