Situated in an historic 118 year-old school hostel. There are 11 Twin or Double en suite rooms, and 2 Family rooms with en suite bathrooms. Upstairs, we have rooms that have 2, 4, 6 or 8 beds. These rooms make use of shared bathrooms at the end of the passage way. Kitchen facilities available.

On site parking, braai area. Playing fields for groups.
Large garden to relax in.

Area Information:
Set in the midst of mountains and winelands. Very central for touring all areas of the Western Cape

In Room Facilities:
this hostel offers private and dormitory type accommodation with mountain view.

The individually decorated rooms and dormitories at Franschhoek Travellers Lodge are equipped with wooden parquet floors and pastel coloured walls. Each room has a desk and a wardrobe. Some rooms have a private bathroom.

Attractions:
Activities in the area include wine tasting on horseback, Boland hiking trails, golf, paragliding, Berg River Dam tour, picnic at Boschendal, Huguenot Fine Chocolates, local cheese and wine tasting, fly fishing and Cad se Pad walking trail.

Why not take time out to stroll down the tree lined streets or visit one of the many world renowned restaurants in town? The Huguenot monument is a must on any trip to Franschhoek.

This is such a beautiful and well run town, with an abundance of wine and good food! Would highly recommend this for any visitors seeking a break from the hustle and bustle of city life. Or just want a romantic weekend away. It is on the pricey side, so be prepared to pay a bit for a meal and drinks. Otherwise have fun!
