Nestled in the famous Franschhoek Valley, Neighbourgood Farm Sanctuary is all about connecting people with farm animals and inspiring positive change in the way society views and treats farmed animals. The sanctuary provides a safe haven for rescued farm animals, and also works to raise awareness about their plight through public outreach and education programs. By connecting people with the animals they so often take for granted, Farm Sanctuary is working to create a more compassionate world for all. For those seeking an extraordinary lodging experience to remember long after the cows come home, count sheep no further. There are also a number of accommodation options available on the Sanctuary property, including a ‘Stay in the Hay’ designer loft apartment in the barn itself. All of the accommodation features a private bathroom, Nespresso machine, kettle and microwave, and free Wi-Fi internet access. Guests have full use of the 20 metre lap pool and expansive gardens. Come and meet the farm animals between 11h00 and 16h00 daily.

So many wonderful places to eat including lovely outdoor courtyards with live music; lovely bespoke shops plus some necessities like Clicks; incredible world-class wine estates with wine tasting & pairing experiences and the wine tram; lovely accommodation well-tiered; safe to walk around. For an outstanding experience and meal I would recommend La Petite Colombe on Leeu estates.
