Welcome to Fern Cottage.
Fern Cottage is a small (33 square metres) but functional unit situated in Moss Street off Rhodes Avenue and in walking distance of Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. The room has a double bed, a fully equipped kitchen and bathroom-en-suite.
It is approximately 8 minutes driving time to Claremont shopping node and 25 minutes to Cape Town (M3) and Cape Town International Airport (N2)
We provide a full DSTV bouquet and electric blankets in winter.
The unit has a separate entrance and off-street parking. There is a key lock for remote key collection on arrival.
The unit is cleaned only by the owner and we adhere to Covid-19 cleaning protocols.

Very well situated apartment with hospitable hosts who could not have given us a warmer welcome
The unit was perfect for private stay in stunning location surrounded by serene sounds of nature and fresh air. Everything you need with a full kitchen and amenities, while also being close distance to shops and restaurants. Big thank you to Paddy for being such a lovely and accommodating Host :)
Lovely spacious cottage in a beautiful corner of Newlands. Quiet and private with everything you need for a business trip or a getaway.
As a business woman travelling regularly on my own I appreciated a safe, homely space where every possible convenience and need was met. I will be back!

Very warm, private, welcoming, neat and comfortable.
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our weeks stay at Fern Cottage. The accommodation,hospitality and location are first class, although a car is a necessity. Paddy and Mike do everything possible to ensure you have a memorable time.
Contained with all needs met. Just a bit cold in Winter months due to screeded floor. Otherwise perfectly positioned between Central CT and Southern Suburbs.
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, great yet unimposing hosts, air of generosity i.e. lovely decor and fittings, the best quality bed linen, delightful treats in the kitchen and bathroom. A very happy stay for us as a couple.
