Plottie is a spacious holiday home in Struisbaai offering self-catering accommodation situated within walking distance of the picturesque harbour, beach and shops.
Plottie has two separate units. The main house and a one-bedroom apartment with private entrance and back yard.
The house's main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed. The second bedroom is furnished with two bunkbeds. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Bed linen is provided but guests need to bring their own towels.
The house's living area and kitchen are open plan and the kitchen is equipped with an oven, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, full-length fridge, full-length freezer and a big chest freezer.
The house has a two-plate gas stove as alternative during loadshedding. The lights in the main living areas are connected to an uninterrupted power supply (UPS) and we provide a portable rechargeable light. The house has a TV with DStv and Wi-Fi connected to the UPS. You won't even miss one second of your favourite sports or series! The living area has a cosy fireplace.
The house has a courtyard with covered braai area. A braai grid and utensils are provided.
The apartment's main bedroom is furnished with a King-size bed and has an en-suite bathroom fitted with a bath, shower, toilet and basin. The apartment also has a bunkbed in the living area. Bed linen is provided but guests need to bring their own towels.
The apartment's living area and kitchen are open plan and the kitchen is equipped with a two-plate gas stove, microwave, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer.
The lights in the apartment includes emergency lighting during loadshedding and we provide a portable rechargeable light. The flat has a Smart TV and Wi-Fi connected to the UPS.
The apartment has a braai area with shading in the spacious back yard. A braai grid and utensils are provided.
Parking is available on site.
The owner is available 24/7 to address any issues that may arise.
Located 4 km from Cape Agulhas, which is the southernmost point of the African continent. Approximately 250 m from the beach, 750 m from the harbour and 1300 m from the shops and main swimming beach.

Struisbaai’s quirky little harbour, originally built in 1959 but enlarged in 1990, serves both fishing and ski boats for the myriad visitors to the town during holiday season, and the Anglican Church, also a restored national monument, is worth a visit. It is often the venue for small weddings and local services.

This is the place to go to relax, has enough site seeing areas and good area to just unwind. Wish we had more time to spend.
The amazing scenery.
The friendliness and the people. The choice of beaches and being able to take my little ones to collect shells. The drive out of CPT to Struisbaai is stunning and of course seeing the most southern point of Africa and visiting the light House in Agulhas.
I enjoyed the absolute friendliness of the residents of Struisbaai. No one passes you without greeting. What
further pleased me is the safe environment. No worries of theft or break ins.
