We are only 25 km from Phabeni Kruger Park Gate.
Listen to the sound of fish eagles calling, and enjoy the visits of the mongoose and other small wild animals. Unwind on the verandah or relax in your own private splash pool and admire the stunning view of the lake.
Situated halfway between White River and Hazyview (25 Km) on the R40 you will find us. The cottages are situated in a secure residential estate on the banks of the Da Gama Lake. The houses are all privately owned.
Within the estate there are wonderful walking trails.
Coral Tree Cottage: The 2 main bedrooms are both en-suite and both have glass doors leading out onto the patio, giving the rooms a great view.
Cormorant Cottage: Main en-suite bedroom with doors leading onto the deck. The other two rooms share a bathroom and separate toilet. Living area has glass doors that open completely onto a large deck.
Both the houses have stunning views of the lake.
The small farming town of White River which lies between Mbombela (Nelspruit) and Hazyview is the new tourist hotspot for a delightful day trip.
This friendly community of artists, artisans and farmers will have you visually inspired and ready to sample their creative designs and fresh produce at any of the galleries, studios, craft markets, cafés and restaurants you find there. The high level of Kaolin (China clay) deposits gives the river that skirts the town its name. In Swazi it is known as Mhloppemanzi (which means white waters) and in Afrikaans, it is referred to as Witrivier.
Property Facilities:Open fireplace and TV in the lounge, full Digital Satellite TV for all the houses. All have built-in BBQ and a private splash pool on the deck. The modern, well-equipped kitchens have a large fridge/deep-freeze. The kitchens are fully equipped with cutlery and crockery.
Attractions:The most popular activities at the estate are hiking and fishing. No power boats are allowed on the water, which maintains the ambiance of peace and tranquility.
There are many activities available in the area, including open vehicle safaris, canopy tours, quad biking, river rafting, elephant interaction and many more. These need to be booked directly with the different operators who offer these activities. These activities are not on site.
