Estuary life at its best, this family-style home is perfect for the whole family, even granny and grandpa. Mare Amice offers a fully equipped self-catering 3-bedroom house with a granny flat in Witsand, a beautiful coastal town with a wide river mouth, just off the N2 on the Cape South Coast between Heidelberg and Swellendam.
The house features 3 bedrooms with a queen-size bed in each, sharing the use of a full bathroom and a guest toilet. The open-plan kitchen is fully equipped with a stove and oven, microwave, and fridge as well as tea and coffee facilities. Meals can be enjoyed at the dining table and the lounge has comfortable seating and a TV with full DStv.
The open-plan granny flat features a queen-size bed, a bunk bed, dining area and has a shower-only bathroom. The kitchenette is fully equipped with a stove and oven and opens onto the large, covered braai room with 2 single beds which opens to the courtyard with stacking aluminium doors.
Wooden doors keep the courtyard private and braai wood can be stored behind a locked gate. A laundry facility is available and for convenience, bedding and bath towels are provided. Guests please need to bring their own beach towels.

A very unique place to visit.
We were at Barry's Guest house, everything was great, we had lots of fun and enjoyed the stay but the owners was a bit uptight the next morning after the next day , and the attitude AAAAg!
