Slakkepas 34 is a self-catering house located in a secure complex in Dwarskersbos, a tranquil coastal village on the West Coast. It offers an ideal retreat for a family looking to explore the West Coast away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This thatched-roof house accommodates 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and an en-suite loft room. The bedrooms are both furnished with a double bed and share a bathroom fitted with a bath and shower. The loft also has a double bed, while its en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower. Linen is provided, however, guests have to bring their own towels.

The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and washing machine. In the open-plan living area, guests will find a 6-seater dining table, a comfy lounge suite, and a TV that guests can use to log into their own streaming accounts. Upstairs, there is a balcony with a seating area, while the covered patio downstairs features a built-in braai area, an outdoor seating area and a wood-fired KolKol hot tub. Parking under a carport is available for a single vehicle. A communal swimming pool is available in the complex.

Dwarskersbos, situated along the beautiful West Coast, provides access to notable attractions such as the Rocherpan Nature Reserve, West Coast National Park, and pristine beaches.
Reservations
• When you accept the quote, you agree to complete and return a personal information document along with a copy of your ID document
• We kindly remind you to ensure that the correct number of guests are listed on the booking form, as these will be the only persons authorized to use the house and its facilities.
• To respect our neighbours and maintain a peaceful environment, no loud music, excessive noise or parties are allowed, unfortunately we do not allow day visitors.
• If our terms and conditions are breached, we reserve the right to cancel your booking with immediate effect and you will be asked to leave the premises. This means no refund of your accommodation fees, including the breakages deposit.

Payment of your booking
• The remaining balance of your booking is payable 14 days before your check-in date

Breakage deposit
The following may affect the refund of your breakage deposit:
• We reserve the right to use the breakage deposit towards cleaning, repair or replacement costs if the property has been left dirty, if items are missing, damaged, or if extraordinary cleaning of the property, linen or furniture is required.
• Please wash and put away your dirty dishes before departure, as unwashed dishes will incur an additional fee
• To respect our neighbours and maintain a peaceful environment, no loud music, excessive noise or parties are allowed, unfortunately we do not allow day visitors. Violation will result in the forfeiture of your breakages deposit and you will be asked to leave the premises.
• If you bring your pets, please keep them off furniture, avoid disturbing the neighbours, and clean up after them. Failure to comply may result in forfeiture of the breakage deposit.
• Smoking is strictly prohibited in the houses. If we detect any signs or smells of smoke, the deposit will not be refunded.
• The breakage deposit will be refunded within 14 working days, minus any deductions. If the deposit is insufficient, the booking person is personally responsible for covering additional costs

Check-in and check-out information
Please note that the keys to the property must be collected from a different location in Dwarskersbos than the house in which you will be staying. The location and map will be mailed to you prior to your arrival.
• Keys can be collected during the following times:
− Weekdays between 14:00 and 18:00
− Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays between 10:00 and 13:00
• We kindly request that you respect these times, as keys will not be available outside these hours.
• Keys must be returned between 9:00 and 10:00.

Self-Catering Essentials
• As you prepare for your stay with us, don't forget that our accommodation is self-catering, please pack the following must-have items: towels (bath and beach), dishcloths, wood, food, toiletries, cleaning supplies, extra toilet paper (we have one roll per toilet to start with) and extra black bags (there's one in the bin)
• If you are staying with us for 7 nights or more, please arrange in advance for additional linen. This is not included in your rate, but we can provide it for an additional fee.

Pet friendly Rules
• If you have arranged in advance, you are welcome to bring a maximum of two well behaved pets.
• Pets are not allowed on the beds or the furniture, please bring their own beds, bedding and feeding bowls.
• Your pet must not be a nuisance to the neighbours and must be on a leash once guests leave the property.
• And, of course, remember to clean up after your pet.

Complaints
• Please report problems as soon as they arise, as we can't resolve them after you've checked out.

Please note that the wood-fired hot-tub is outside, not under a roof and we do not provide wood for the hot tub. Guests must fill and empty the hot tub themselves.

Liability
• The Owner of the property and the Property Manager accept no responsibility or liability for any injuries, loss, damage, theft, or death to any person and/or their property or any items forgotten or left in the house.
