BEDROOMS LAYOUT

The main bedroom features a luxurious queen-size bed, a TV, and a full en-suite bathroom with both a bath and a shower. The second bedroom is elegantly appointed with two single beds, while the third bedroom offers a comfortable double bed. The second bathroom is thoughtfully equipped with a shower, basin, and toilet.

UNIT LAYOUT

The villa's entrance is on the ground floor and can accommodate up to six people. It boasts an open-plan kitchen and living area that opens onto a spacious patio, complete with a covered dining area, Weber braai, and fire pit overlooking the lawn. Please note that there are eight steps separating the split-level bedrooms from the living area.

The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, featuring a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, cutlery, and crockery. For your convenience, the property also includes a washing machine and dishwasher. The kitchen island doubles as a dining area, while the lounge offers a comfortable suite and a flat-screen TV with DStv, Showmax, and WiFi.

Additionally, the villa is equipped with three air conditioners as well as three roof fans for those hot summer days. There's also two 1000-liter JoJo water backup tanks, ensuring your comfort and convenience.

HOUSEKEEPING

Does a standard service on Monday, Wednesday and Fridays during the low-season. In mid-high season, the unit is serviced every day, except on Sundays and Public Holidays. Take note that long weekends and public-school holidays are included in the mid-season. *Additional services can be arranged at an extra cost, please notify us beforehand. This amount can also be deducted from the refundable breakage deposit.

Linen changes are scheduled for stays of longer than five days and will be scheduled during the middle of that period. Towel changes are done on Monday, Wednesday, Fridays and on all new arrivals. Additional changes can be arranged at an extra fee. Please notify us beforehand.

PARKING

Reserved for one vehicle under the carport. Additional vehicles need to park at the guest parking bays at each lot or at the Hotel. Please note these parking bays are open and not covered.

GENERAL

Guests need to pay San Lameer Reception R10 per armband, to gain access to the beach for the duration of your stay. This is done on check-in when collecting your keys.

TAKE NOTE

South Africa is experiencing consistent load-shedding affecting all areas, including the South Coast. In the past, San Lameer has had occasions whereby the Eskom breakers in Marina Beach tripped after a load-shedding restart and left the estate without power for a day. We are not able to predict these events and this is out of our control. Please come prepared. Beaches are influenced by weekly tests to determine if it is safe to swim or not and we cannot guarantee that the beach will be open for swimming. The UGU Municipality does have seasonal problems with water supply on the South Coast, which might influence your stay. Although San Lameer has boreholes and reserve tanks, they are still reliant on the supply of the municipality. It is very important to note that we can't control or predict their water supply but will notify our guests should there be an expected problem. We can unfortunately not provide refunds on these instances, and advise guests to take the matter up with the related supplier of the service, or alternatively do not book the unit.

LOADSHEDDING

The unit is not equipped with a backup power source.

REMEMBER

This is a self-catering unit, and the unit is fitted with all basic cutlery items, but no food or replenishable stock. Please bring along your own beach towels.

We have plenty to do on the estate, from nature walks, wildlife, fishing, to birding etc. If you tire of nature, you can play tennis, swim in one of 3 pools, or do some shopping at our convenience store and while the kids are playing on the jungle gym and trampoline the grown-ups can treat themselves to a luxurious spa treatment at La Vita Spa. The private beach and the Mtamvuna River are within 500 m of the property and the area is popular for horse riding, golfing and fishing. Wild Waves Water Park is 2 km from Caribbean Estate, while Wild Coast Sun Casino is 3 km away.
