Welcome to La Cabriere Country House,
All our rooms are individually decorated to provide an elegant and extremely comfortable retreat for guests. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, ceiling fan, mini-bar and television; as well as heating and some have open fires for winter evenings. Pure cotton bed linen, bathrobes and heated towel rails are provided to ensure your every comfort. Two pools (1 heated )
The rooms contain: *A minibar *Safe *Tea & coffee making facilities *DSTV *Aircon *WiFi *all linen and gowns, *bathroom.
Franschhoek boasts more than 20 wine farms in and around town, 8 of the top 100 restaurants in South Africa, 20% of the country's award winning chefs, and a myriad of activities like hiking, horse riding, mountain biking, road cycling, fly fishing, golf, paragliding, 4x4 trails etc. The Franschhoek Valley is further blessed with an excellent climate, a factor that played an important role in attracting the French Huguenot wine makers that settled here in the so called "French Corner" of the Cape in the late 17th century.
Today many of the world's best loved wines are produced here. La Cabriere Country House is situated in one of the best positions of this magnificent and diverse wine valley, making it the perfect base for those wanting to explore Franschhoek and the Cape Winelands.

We loved everything about La Cabriere. Beautiful lodge set away from the noise & bustle of the town but close enough to walk. The gardens, pools and view made it so relaxing & peaceful. The team headed by Lisa made us feel like we were home away from home and the breakfasts were delicious! Highly, highly recommend.
Our stay was amazing. We absolutely loved the grounds. Thank you so much to Lisa for being such a welcoming and wonderful host. Definitely returning soon.

Hi my husband, Andries and I had a fabulous spoilt weekend for our 38th anniversary here. Sunday Valentine's breakfast was made very special with beautiful and tasty treats and smoothies. Its really luxury accommodation and breathtaking views of the mountain and well kept gardens. Very friendly and helpful people.

Absolutely exquisite location with beautiful gardens, views and an incredibly comfy bed!! Lisa and her staff are friendly, attentitive and serve a delicious spread for breakfast!! Can't wait to be back again.

The Wine Train for sure
So many wonderful places to eat including lovely outdoor courtyards with live music; lovely bespoke shops plus some necessities like Clicks; incredible world-class wine estates with wine tasting & pairing experiences and the wine tram; lovely accommodation well-tiered; safe to walk around. For an outstanding experience and meal I would recommend La Petite Colombe on Leeu estates.
