Fynbos House is a stunning seven-bedroom, six-bathroom residence located in Hermanus, designed to accommodate up to 14 guests. It offers a spacious and comfortable living experience, blending modern amenities with the natural beauty of its surroundings.
BEDROOMS LAYOUT
Bedroom 1 boasts a king-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with both a bath and shower. Bedroom 2 is similarly luxurious, featuring an extra king-size bed and a full en-suite bathroom with a bath and shower. Bedroom 3 includes a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower. Bedroom 4 also has a queen-size bed. Bedrooms 5, 6, and 7 are each furnished with double beds. Of the remaining bathrooms, two are equipped with showers, toilets, and basins, while the last one includes a bath, toilet, and basin.
UNIT LAYOUT
On the ground floor, you’ll find a reception area, Bedroom 1, a cozy lounge, a dining room, a sunroom, a guest cloakroom, and a fully equipped kitchen with an adjacent laundry. The Pool Cottage, located just outside, features two additional bedrooms and a shared bathroom. For convenience, the home is fitted with both stairs and an elevator, making the first floor easily accessible. The first floor includes four bedrooms, four bathrooms, three balconies, two living areas, and a bar. Be mindful of the three steps at the front door, internal stairs near the reception, and other stairways leading to different areas, including the spiral stairs from the deckroom balcony to the pool cottage and pool area.
The kitchen is fully outfitted for your culinary needs, including a coffee machine, washer, dryer, and multiple dishwashers. The home’s multiple living areas ensure plenty of relaxation space, with one of them featuring a TV with DStv, Netflix, Showmax, and a pool table. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the property. Depending on the weather, guests can make use of the gas braai, multiple fireplaces, and free-standing fans. Outdoor amenities include a swimming pool. For beach trips, there are beach towels and a beach umbrella.
The house is also equipped with modern security features, including CCTV, an electric fence, and a security alarm system. Parking is secure behind a remote-controlled gate. Guests will appreciate the 10kW wind turbine, inverter, and 45kWh of lithium battery storage, which help power the house during loadshedding. A UPS system ensures continuous internet access, and the borehole water system is equipped with iron removal filters and tanks, feeding into the irrigation system’s storage dam.

A friendly town where everything you need is nearby.
The weather and the wine farms, as well as their Saturday market.
After leaving the Grand Lux boutique hotel we checked into the Harbour House which was accommodating and welcoming and central to everything. GLBH is out of the way for tourists unless you have a car.
Lots to see there and loved the coastal paths.
The restaurants, the calmness and of course the ocean.
Nice sea side walkway, but the center is too crowded.

Fernkloof for beautiful walks in Nature reserve. Grotto beach absolutely amazing( all facilities )Fine sand, body boarding and kite surfing when windy.
