Reviews
The stay was pleasant and quaint. The cold room was compensated by a blow heater and electric blankets when there was no load shedding so we slept warmly overall. Very basic but nice.
I booked a room for my husband and son for a fishing weekend at Spioenkop dam. Susan was very kind and made them both very welcome. They enjoyed their stay in Winterton. We will certainly book again on future fishing trips.
this was a magical weekend.
Peace and tranquility the best.
Staff was extremely friendly.
Chirping of birds in the morning.....don't get that in the city...
Very cute room, the grounds are lovely, Susan is very helpful with any questions you may have. If we need to stay in the area again, we will definitely be rebooking
Excellent host and service
We only stayed over one night but overall experience was very nice. Friendly staff and very pleasant room. We would definitely come again :)
We were pleasantly surprised by the size of the house we stayed in and had a very pleasant stay. The house was clean and neat and had all the crockery and cutlery we needed. If we had to come down to the area again we would gladly stay here again. Thank you.
rooms are cheap our host was very generous and her house assistants
Very neat, comfortable homely cottage. Owners made us feel welcome. We will definitely go back!
Finding some where that's homey and child friendly is hard to find these days. I loved staying at Lilac Lodge. There's a wonderful pool to keep cool and for the kids to enjoy and a lapa. And braai area. The homes are just perfect. I really enjoyed my stay.

Winterton Reviews
People friendly and very safe to walk around.
I enjoy the mountains and the views.
The friendly people and the quaint little shops. Scenery and much more.
It was small and very pleasant, with so many sites to explore.
The proximity to Cathedral Peak and the heritage sites around the area.
Lovely environment, beautiful nature, lot of things to do! Winterton Parkrun is a must.
The little town was awesome and plenty to do just outside of town.
We found different excursions every day.
