Area Information:Le Pommier is located on Helshoogte Pass (R310), the main route between Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and the perfect base from which to explore this unique and most breathtaking region.

Attractions:Previously an apple farm, the Le Pommier Wine Estate, with its distinctive French name, is a reminder of its history. The restaurant is situated in what was originally used as a shed, storeroom for animal food and a chicken run. The guesthouse was the original farm homestead. The first business that was run here was a coffee shop known as Die Banhoek Kombuis.

This was really lovely accommodation where we stayed for a week in November 2018.
Nothing was too much trouble for the staff and the food was really good.
The only thing which could be improved, is the choice of breakfast for the B and B visitors.
We were overlooking the lake in a huge room and had a choice of several swimming pools.
It was a quiet week, so not many guests staying at the time.
Would highly recommend for a relaxing stay!

I stayed there for a weekend in accordance to friends wedding in Sorgvfliet. The place, the area, the nature and the weather were perfect these days. The place has a nice clean pool in beautiful nature scenes, wonderful food, and all of us from Norway who stayed there will always remember the omelette with everything:-)
For Europeans the price-level is nice, so you get a lot for your money. Service was excellent.
Thanks to management and staff for three wonderful days in their place.
