Plaaskombuis is a guesthouse that is situated in tranquil surrounding on a beautiful farm, that is a mere 4 kilometers from the very heart of Meyerton. It was established back in 1997 and only started off with 3 rooms. The guest house now have 35 rooms and still offers the best service.

Plaaskombuis has 10 lovely Bed & Breakfast double rooms, 4 x Self catering a family Units & 7 x 2 sleeper Self catering units available. The rooms are spacious and have in-suite facilities, a television with selected DSTV channels and coffee/tea making facilities. The rooms are all serviced daily by the very friendly staff members.
Plaaskombuis serves a delicious breakfast in the dining room area between 6am and 9am. Food types include hot breakfasts with bacon, eggs, fried mushrooms, sausages and tomatoes. There is also fresh fruit juice, yogurt, fruit, jams and bread - a truly delicious spread!
Visit the Johannesburg Museum for some cultural and historical background, play a game of golf with friends or family members, join one of the tours of Soweto Township, go horse riding, hot air ballooning, explore the game reserves, spend the day being pampered at the spa or shop at some of the best shopping centers and flea markets in the area.

Peace full stay
Die Plaas Kombuis was gerieflik ingerig selfs vir n groep mense. Ons het lekker gekuier en die eienaars het uit hul pad uit gegaan om ons te akkommodeer.
Great location, quiet and not far from shops and restaurants
In 2016 I was sent to South Africa to stay at Plaaskombuis as part of a rugby exchange from Bristol, England. I travelled with a referee, also from Bristol, and we shared a room.
The area was out in the country and was surrounded by acres of fields. It was lovely and peaceful. There is a chapel there that did Weddings, Christenings, etc. and plenty of space to park cars. There were also 2 dogs and, as a dog owner, I was fully entertained watching them and making friends with them.
Breakfast was served in the dining area and was a typical Full English Breakfast, egg, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and plenty of tea or coffee. We shared the dining room with a group of young athletes who were there training as marathon runners. It didn't bother me, as I was there as Referee Coach and old enough to be their Grand Parent!
I would love to return there sometime and, preferably, more than once, if I live long enough.
If you enjoy a peaceful setting out in the countryside and accommodation with it's own bathroom and shower this is the place to stay at a very reasonable price.
The staff are very friendly and assisted us without hesitation. The owner introduced himself to us personally and allowed us to park our motorbike right in front of our room. Will definitely go back.
We had a great time with my cousins, although it was raining but we had a pleasant stay.
