Accommodation in the guest wing is dedicated to famous South African Edwardians, Olive Schreiner, Mahatma Ghandi, Jan Smuts and Cecil John Rhodes. We offer you a uniquely traditional bed and breakfast experience.
Edward House is set in a beautiful shady, sub-tropical garden, often used in wedding photographs. Guests make use of the extensive verandas (both upstairs and downstairs) as well as its swimming pool to relax.
A guest's lounge as well as a reading room and dining room (both of which open onto the downstairs wraparound veranda) are located on the ground floor.
Meals are served in a very traditional manner in the dining room or on the downstairs veranda.

It is a pleasure to walk through the streets of Waterkloof which are lined with large old shady trees and beautiful homes, many of which are used as ambassadorial residences by the city's diplomatic community.

Waterkloof and it's adjacent suburbs are home to many award winning restaurants. Cynthias, Brasserie de Paris, Ritrovos are just some fine dining restaurants which are nationally renowned. Pavement cafes are also a feature of the area and many specialise in cakes, pastries and light meals. Waterkloof Corner, Waterkloof Heights, Brooklyn Mall and Brooklyn Designer Square are centres which offer an up market shopping experience.
