We were at La Ferme over the Easter Weekend and WOWEE! What an amazing place to relax and spend quality time with the family. Kids could run around and play, whilst the dogs on the property watched over them. The best protective dogs I've come across. We caught lots of fish in the dams and got a friendly warm welcome from the owner herself, when arriving. There are chickens to feed and lovely pathways for romantic walks. Definitely one of my new top tens.

The village vibe and how safe it is. Also, everyone can walk to where they want to go, instead of getting into a car every time.

What a fantastic experience on the Franschoek Wine Tram! 10 stars from us. Take some time to research which estates you would like to visit to choose the best route. We chose the Grey route and stopped at Franschoek Cellar, Leopards Leap and Rickety Bridge as these were all child friendly options. We will definitely be back without the kids ;) Also, great service and food at the River Café.
