Nestled between towering cliffs and set in tropical gardens on the banks of the Umzimvubu River, N'taba River Lodge is a small family resort offering a perfect mixture of Wild Coast hospitality and homely comfort.Holiday makers seeking a place to get in touch with nature can find it all here. Accommodation at N'taba River Lodge is in spacious and hugely comfortable cottage-style bungalows. each with it's own private bathroom and shower.
Each cottage is fully furnished and serviced. A walk to the lighthouse is a multimedia adventure and a very simple way to experience a wide spectrum of life in Port St Johns.Visit the airstrip and army base for small planes and catch beautiful, aerial views of the big Umzimvubu River and the town.

everything was perfect, the food, the rooms, the outside, and people are so friendly
The view when you are inside the lodge is breathtaking. The river and the mountains. The grounds are well kept and lovely . The employees at the establishment are so friendly and try to accommodate all the guests needs , as best they can

We had an amazing time at the lodge and the food was of the highest quality.
From the moment we arrived at the lodge we were warmly welcomed by all staff always willing to step in and help out whenever, wherever. Our overall stay here was absolutely amazing so much so that I am unable to express in words just how amazing and beautiful our whole stay was. From friendly staff and management to the accommodation I can honestly refer Ntaba Lodge to all my family and friends. Truly an experience I don't think anyone should miss out on!! Thank you for your hospitality.

The Transkei is one of the most scenic destinations I've been to. The people are great, the mountains majestic, sheep & goats rule the roads, cows graze against crazy inclines, the beaches are clean and the water is blue. And to top it off, it is a great 4x4 destination as well!!
