Solitude and serenity surround you in your private thatched tree house as you watch a spectacular sunset over the mountains while wildlife roams around the camp and visits the watering hole.
In Room Facilities:Bona Ntaba Lodge is a unique, small, self catering accommodation featuring tree house chalets: two with their own kitchen and boma, and an other 2 which share the large kitchen/dining/lounge building with a boma and braai, splash pool, and deck with a view. Each elevated treehouse cabin has a king beds (twin on request) that sleep 2 adults, an ensuite bath with tub, and an outside shower. The Family Treehouse has a loft for 2 older children. All tree houses enjoy enchanting views of the Drakensburg range from your private viewing deck while our wildlife wanders by

A wonderful retreat in the true meaning of the word. Secluded, cozy, peace and quiet. I can't recommend it enough for anyone wanting to get away from it all. Great value for money.

We had a wonderful time for 3 nights in Bona Ntaba.
From the lodge and pool we could see Giraffes, Zebras, Impalas, Buffalos and even a Hyena at the waterhole.
The main entry of the Kruger Park is about 40 minutes away. But already on the way we saw several animals like elephants.
We had the family tree lodge with our two children 9 and 12 and enjoyed the hot outside shower.
The cabin is at the treetops giving a spectacular view. very comfortable cabin. The kitchen and main guest area is lovely. Angel was very friendly and keeps the lodge very clean and nice.
Very good value for the money. Geurnsey is a very nice nature reserve.
It was outstanding. Beautiful surroundings lovely pool and well equip kitchen.
Best weekend away. If you are looking to unwind from the city life and enjoy time in nature, Bona Ntaba is definitely the place to be. The staff at Bona Ntaba are friendly. We booked a game drive and dinner through Nsele Safari lodge, this experience surpassed my expectations, would definitely recommend it. If you are wanting to wake up at the crack of dawn, the bush walk is a must 😊...
Our stay was brilliant. The accommodation was clean and the décor was beautiful. It was so different from anything we have ever experienced, staying in a tree house. It is so peaceful out there and to top it all off we had a giraffe experience at the lodge. They were RIGHT there watching us and eating their leaves, it was a once in a lifetime moment and one we will never forget.
We had an amazing time, we will definitely go back sometime in the future.
A different type of experience. Well appointed. Comfortable bed. A little too breezy for winter, but I guess that's to be expected based on the design. Would make a good summer location.

Beautiful and Clean, pity a place like Mali Mali can upset a persons Holiday... an event that was meant to be legendary! Mali Mali is not as per there website... they manipulate the internet!
The nature.
Morokologa game reserve, we spend our Christmas at the camp and we had a beautiful game drive and morning walks with my grandmother. Played games and reconnected as a family.
Most of Gold cabins- the weather - the sound of the birds-
Since we have family and old colleagues in Hoedspruit we enjoy everything. Love going to Hoedspruit for a weekend break away.
The quietness.
It’s a beautiful town which is easily accessible and has all the convenient shopping around the lodges nearby and one is able to do various activities around the area.
Privacy!
The town is very small yet beautiful and neat. It has lots of tourist attractions and good place to visit, just to unwind!
