The Hhohho province of Swaziland is a wonderful tourist destination as it has many exciting attractions and landmarks to visit during your stay. The province is home to the country’s capital Mbabane, the very popular Piggs Peak Casino and an exciting array of wildlife and nature conservations. The Mlilwane Wildlife Sanctuary is a hub of activity with rest camps, picnic areas, a large swimming pool, and a variety of craft tours and game viewing experiences on offer. The Mkhaya Game Reserve is smaller, but definitely worth a visit with black and white rhinos as the main wildlife on display. Piggs Peak is in the Hhohho region too and is famous for its spectacular gold mining during the late 1800s.

In recent years, the town has become well visited due to its excellent facilities and wide array of accommodation options. Visitors can check out Emlembe, the highest mountain in Swaziland, the Maguda Dam, which is one of the largest dams in the country, or browse through the Peak Fine Craft Centre, which has an exquisite selection of Swazi and African crafts for purchase. Piggs Peak is also home to the exciting Piggs Peak Casino and the Orion Piggs Peak hotel, which is the ideal stopover point between the famous Kruger National Park in South Africa, and the capital Mbabane.

The Hhohho province has also developed a reputation for preparing umptuous cuisine from a number of impressive eateries throughout the district. Hhohho promises tourists a unique Swazi experience and has an enviable location as it has direct access to the borders of South Africa, Mozambique, Zambia and Botswana.
