Pacifica is in San Mateo County California, on the coast of the Pacific Ocean, between San Francisco and Half Moon Bay.
Pacifica is a natural beautiful city with stunning surroundings, and has the ambiance of a small town. There is no official town center as Pacifica developed as several individual neighborhoods, each with their own chain of small shopping centers and commercial districts. The city has beautiful beaches, scattered with tiny pocket inlets and gorgeous rolling sandy dunes, which offer visitors’ excellent swimming, fishing and surfing opportunity. At Milagra Ridge, a 239 acre National Park Service open space, breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean framed by the ridges of the coast range, can be seen. There are several level and paved hiking and biking trails in the surrounding hills. Other activities offered to visitors are bird watching, scuba diving, boating and horseback riding. For the sports lover there are tennis, archery, golf and bowling.
