Stevensford is a 3500 ha private nature conservancy situated on the Limpopo River in Botswana’s Tuli Block. The Reserve is also a working game farm and is home to many species, including giraffe, zebra, eland, waterbuck, kudu, gemsbok, blue wildebeest, bushbuck, red hartebeest, impala, steenbok, duiker, aardwolf, aardvark, brown hyena, warthog, crocodile and hippopotamus. There are occasional sightings of leopard, cheetah, bat-eared foxes and bushpig.

The cottages are set within small private camps. All bedrooms have en-suite showers and premium quality beds with fine white cotton bedlinen and towels, ceiling fans and mosquito nets. All rooms are equipped with air-cons, for those warm Botswana nights

Each camp has a private boma, fully equipped (with crockery, cutlery, pots and pans) for indoor and outdoor cooking on gas or on fire, and dining. Cooking and dining areas are under thatch and outdoor. Wood fires are lit for guests in the centre of paved or screeded patios, ideal for al-fresco meals and stargazing evenings.

They stay was nice. It was raining but we enjoyed it. The unit was nice and had a separate kitchen and fireplace. The host was very nice. Would recommend to others and definitely stay here again.

Spent a most fantastic long weekend at Stevensford.
A serene spot in unspoiled bush. With excellently hosted game drives and nature walks (there was plenty of game to see and birds to watch), we spent our days enjoying the reserve to the fullest, and our nights around the fire under a brilliantly clear sky (for those interested in astronomy).
The lodges were comfortable and uncomplicated, the staff knowledgeable and welcoming.
All in all a great stay - we will be back!

I needed a complete rest and Stevensford provided it. A very peaceful, unspoilt place to stay. No railway sleeper furniture, no loud music, no TVs, no holiday inn type commercialization here, this is the real thing - farm house comforts with plenty of game, great birding and unspoilt indigenous vegetation. Thank you to the staff for a wonderful stay.

We booked a catered dinner for 12 to celebrate our anniversary and what a night we had. Lanterns lit the way to exquisitely set up tables in the moonlight. A first class feast served from steaming cast iron pots with freshly baked bread was followed by the best cheesecake on earth. The staff thought of everything including a "bush basin" where we could wash our hands, coffee and liqueurs around a bonfire and blankets for everyone on the night drive back to camp. The chorus of jackals during dessert was a bonus! An unforgettable occasion.

I recommend this place to photographers and all lovers of nature as there is so much natural beauty. Very clean, comfortable rooms and helpful staff.

We stayed one night at Stevensford on the last night of our Botswana tour and wished we had stayed longer. Here we were able to experience true freedom - doing game drives in our own vehicle and taking spectacular walks. One of the staff taught us how to identify spoor and about the medicinal use of local plants and roots. There was no expectation of a tip, just country style kindness. Time stood still for us here and we can't wait to return for a longer stay.

Yes thank you for the oppoturnity.

I took a couple of my friends to Stevensford Game Ranch, and my son, one and a half. I have never seen that boy so jolly and all over the place.

We had a very beautiful outing , very private and secluded, our own little heaven. We will come back. Although we all felt it could be much nicer in the summer when it is green.

We sorry we consumed most wine there was. We ran out of stock.. lol
