We have a 2 bed flat ,4 bed flat and a new 2 bed flat available.
One or two people can spend their holidays in our new fully furnished flat (Springbok). It has 2 beds, fully equipped kitchenette, DSTV and WiFi is available.
Two to four people can relax in our secluded two-bedroom self-catering flat (Kudu).
The main bedroom of this self-catering flat has a double bed while the second bedroom has two single beds. There are two separate toilets with a shower, and the open-plan kitchen and spacious lounge allows our guests to stretch out their legs. The flat is fully equipped and comfortably furnished and is fitted with a small safe, stove, cooker, microwave, washing machine and fridge. It has its own barbecue (braai) facility. DSTV and WIFI is available. If you are looking for really quiet, secluded and affordable accommodation Maggie's Self-Catering is a name to remember.
Our new addition can sleep up to 2 (Oryx). Also fully equipped as the other 2 units.
The Germans founded Swakopmund about 1895 when Namibia was still a German colony (Deutsch Südwest-Afrika). Today this town is a thriving tourist mecca already known to thousands of South Africans and Germans. These two groups visit Namibia on a continuous basis due to colonial history 100 years ago and recent history when "South West" was "the fifth province of RSA".
Activities in and around Swakopmund include: Dolphin cruises, Martin Luther steam tractor, kayaking, camel riding, dune boarding, museum (a must), quad biking, sky-diving, horse riding, scenic flights, aquarium, crystal gallery, 4x4 trails, excursions to the desert and the moon landscape, surf fishing, deep sea fishing, paragliding (my personal), parasailing, historic town tours etc. Maggie's Self-catering has been assessed by the Namibia Tourism Board.

Was the most amazing stay, clean, comfortable, safe, all we needed and we wish we had booked longer. Found Rainer and his wife very accommodating and their little gift for Christmas was such a special touch. Never expected clean towels after 2 days but were given. one of our best stays we had, will be back.
Maggie’s is a great self catering venue. Very complete, super clean. The location is 5 minute drive from downtown.
My trip was okey and I really enjoyed it.

We camped at Alte Brücke for 3 weeks...loved the grass and private ablution facility. All the coffee shops and restaurants we visited are highly recommended, e.g. The Old Steamer, The Tug, Brauhaus, Altstadt, Ankerplatz, The Trading Post, Café Anton, Two Beards Coffee shop to name a few. We just love the vibe in Swakop!

Fantastic town, loads to do, clean, beautiful and full of character. My favorite town through South Africa and Namibia so far.
