Area Information:St Lucia and surrounding area offers some of the best birding opportunities anywhere in Africa. Published author and ornithologist Ian Sinclair said "The Igwalagwala Trail in St Lucia has to be one of the best birding walks in the world for the number of quality birds for the surface area you have." There are over 500 species of birds in summer, including many migrants. Birding tours are custom designed according to what you want to see, and costs are calculated at an hourly rate. So whether you want to see water birds, sea birds, forest inhabitants or birds of prey, our local knowledge will give you the very best chance to find the birds you want.
Property Facilities:Secure parking, breakfast area with outdoor pool and outdoor area to relax
Attractions:Hippo and Crocodile Tour on St Lucia Estuary: The Hippo and Crocodile Estuarine Tour travels from the dock in St Lucia approximately 10kms up the St Lucia Estuary. The boats have been specially designed to float in shallower water so that the skippers' can take you much closer to the animals, even if they are on the shore.
Whale watching in St Lucia: The whales migrate past this stretch of coastline between the months of mid-May to mid-December annually, to calf and breed in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, moving as far as Mozambique and Madagascar before making the journey back to the Antarctic.
We need about 3 hours of your time, of which the actual tour duration is approximately 2 hours on the ocean, and then 30 minutes on either side to get you to and from the launch site.
This in itself is an adventure, as you meet at a central booking office from where you will be taken to the launch site with a 4 x 4 truck onto the beach.
Deep Sea Fishing based in St Lucia: It's so rewarding when you are out to get a specific fish and a little while later its hanging on the end of your line. Knowledge really is power in the fishing game, and I have the knowledge you need to land the fish you are after. My passion is to share my knowledge with my clients, and my heart is to teach you what I have come to know. I can be your fishing coach as you enjoy the charter experience. I find it so rewarding watching my clients catch the fish they are after, it's just as good as catching it myself.
