KarMichael is situated just outside the Village of Himeville. We have self catering cottages and Bed 'n Breakfast accommodation available.
We have three tastefully decorated and spacious, Bed & Breakfast rooms. All rooms have full en-suite bathrooms. Underfloor heater provides relief from the chilly winters.
Originally part of 6 stables, we have turned 3 of them into a quaint unit. The stables are situated at the entrance of the farm overlooking the fields with a beautiful view of the mountains into Lesotho as well as Sani Pass. A perfect unit for a weekend away for two.
Livingstone is part of the original 6 stables. We have turned 3 of them into a very comfortable suites. This luxurious BnB unit is tastefully decorated and certainly not lacking in comfort. A spacious full en-suite bathroom, with a big shower, corner bath unit, toilet and hand basin looking out over the fields to the Mountain Kingdom of Lesotho. Outside is a small private garden area where one can relax.
Rose Cottage is a comfortable self catering cottage. It has an open plan lounge with fireplace / dining room / kitchen. The rooms have been named Sunrise and Sunset room. Fishermans cottage a cozy three bedroomed cottage over looking the dam.
The old Tractor Shed has been converted. Once a dumping ground for all the implements and tools, it has now been transformed into a useful dining area and guest lounge. Breakfasts are served here. When we have larger groups dinners can be arranged. As we are not a restaurant, we cook a meal suitable to everyones needs. The Shed is often used as a mini conference venue. Its the ideal place to hold small workshops and has been used by photographic clubs and overland tour groups coming through. Leading up to the famous Sani2C mountain bike race the venue has proved a great gathering place to relax, watch TV and get to know the other cyclists. During the summer months its great to be able to relax outside on the lawn.
