The Golden Grape is an ideal stopover between Cape Town and Namibia, located just 25 minutes off the N7 and 20 minutes from the Diamond Coast. Not far from The Golden Grape on the Diamond West Coast are the two small popular seaside villages of Strandfontein and Doornbaai, known for their South African lobsters or crayfish. During early spring, the area also boasts world-renowned carpets of wild flowers which spread as far as the eye can see.

Alfred en Lizette, gasheer en gasvrou duisend. Baie tegemoetkomend. Die gastehuis is baie mooi ingerig en die kamers was baie skoon en baie gerieflik. Die ontbyt was uit die boonste gestoeltes, ons het dit voorwaar geniet. Baie baie dankie Alfred en Lizette vir jul gasvryheid. Ek kan The Golden Grape hoogs aanbeveel.
Looking to stay somewhere for a funeral. The room was very well appointed with a big bathroom including walk-in shower. The hosts were very accommodating and provided us with food before we had to set off back to Cape Town too.
