Welcome to Fynbos Cottage.
Fynbos Cottage, which is situated in the picturesque village of Betty’s Bay within 5 minutes drive to Main or Silver sands Beaches. Fynbos Cottage offers self catering accommodation for up to 4 guests. It is located in Aster Close at the end of a cul-de-sac, offering both safety and privacy.
The living area opens onto a sunny patio, ideal for sunbathing or relaxing. There is a built in braai and garden furniture is provided. The patio leads onto a small fynbos garden where you might be lucky to hear the local robins sing or catch a glimpse of the beautiful, colorful sunbird.
The cottage is decorated in a modern beachside theme, the cottage has 2 bedrooms. The living, dining and kitchen area is open plan. The kitchen is fully equipped with a fridge, oven and hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, cooking utensils and cutlery. There is a breakfast bar in the kitchen for quick, convenient eating or for more relaxing and leisurely dining, eat at the 6 seater dining room table.
The main bedroom has a king-size bed and a built-in cupboard. There is also a fireplace in the bedroom to take the chill off wintery nights. The second bedroom has 2 single beds and a dressing table. There is a double sleeper couch in the living area. The bathroom has a shower over the bath, a hand basin and a toilet .There is also another separate toilet.
Betty’s Bay has much to offer for a relaxing holiday. You can spend an afternoon watching the colony of Jackass Penguins at Stony Point. For nature lovers, visit Harold Porter Botanical Gardens where you can see a wide variety of fynbos including proteas, restio's and erica's. Under the right conditions, you can surf or kitesurf at Main Beach.

We had a great time despite the wind!
This was our 2nd visit to Fynbos Cottage and, although the weather was disappointing, as it blew a gale all 3 days, the garden is relatively protected and our stay was relaxing, comfortable and enjoyable, so this is definitely our favorite spot in Betty's :-)

The views of the mountain and the dunes from a lovely private garden, the outside hot and cold shower, the lovely rooms, the spaciousness, were all great, and the bonus was watching the little birds in the birdbath.

Nice and peaceful at Fynbos Cottage, huge bed in main bedroom, fireplace in lounge and bedroom, braai area outside. Easy access to Penguins at Stony Point, Harold Porter Gardens, beaches. Secure with garage.

We had a great time at Fynbos thank you! I loved the fact that there were no neighbouring homes to the cottage we rented which made it very peaceful indeed.
Everything we needed for a comfortable stay was already in the cottage, which meant we could travel light from Cape Town. I would definitely recommend Fynbos Cottage.

Everything About It It’s Perfect The View The Nature I Mean Come See For Your Self
We enjoyed the friendly neighbors and people in general. We also enjoyed the Penguin Sanctuary visit. Take cards to pay for entrance for far walk on the elevated wooden paths made to protect penguin nests and chick. Many babies and my grandson enjoyed the birds with glee and mirth.
Did not enjoy loaded prices of convenience store for products we ran out of.
We basked in the tranquility of the area we stayed in.
Peaceful, beautiful place.
Safe, scenery, location, Penguins.
Quietness, beaches.
Tranquility, beach, restaurant.
Nature lovers paradise. So much to do - surfing, canoeing, sand boarding, trails, hikes, swimming, snorkeling, diving, fishing, freshwater fishing, wind surfing and to top it all the Penguin Reserve at Stony Point and the Harold Porter Botanical Gardens is a must visit.
