The luxury units with their great feeling of space will invite you to relax to the cooling sound of bird song and running water. From your private veranda you will have breathtaking views of the mountains, river and forest. Tranquillity and fresh air in an artfully landscaped setting will ensure that you will want to linger.
Property Facilities:Visitors can enjoy hiking and walking trails on foot or on horseback at Marloth Nature Reserve, which adjoins Gaikou. There are two attractive dams at Gaikou; the lower pond stocked with fish and surrounded by indigenous flora. Visitors will be able to indulge in lure or fly fishing a pace away from their villas, and there is a river trail on the property.
The nearby 9-hole golf course, Drostdy Museum, historic church and Bontebok National Park are all easily accessible. Easy day
excursions are to Cape Agulhas, the southern-most tip of Africa, and De Hoop Nature Reserve, where you can view game and
explore the seashore. A day trip to Witsand via Malgas on the Breede River offers an opportunity to cross the river on the only
man-powered pont in the country!

A fantastic place to stay and the people there were most helpful.
Lodge is in a beautiful setting. The rooms are comfortable and makes for a great cost get away. Staff at lodge were extremely helpful and very accommodating. It was a great stay and would definitely return for future weekends away.
Absolutely amazing location with so much space and right at the foot of the mountain but also 10 minutes from the centre of town. It's a hidden gem in a beautiful location. Well priced and excellent service. Rooms are very large, own patio and very clean and luxurious. Friendly, efficient staff. Could have stayed for months.
