A family owned and run Bed & Breakfast, we offer air-conditioned en-suite rooms, decorated with a true African atmosphere and rich in ethnic style. All rooms have direct access to the swimming pool which is set in our tropical and tranquil garden, perfect to relax and unwind. The garden is a bird lover's paradise, and over 500 species have been identified in the St.Lucia and Elephant Coast area. Maputaland Guest House has become world-renowned for its mouth-watering breakfast and warm hospitality of its German and English speaking hosts, the Orban family.

The beautiful little village of St.Lucia characterizes the southern most tip of the Greater St.Lucia Wetland Park. St.Lucia is situated between the Indian Ocean and the St.Lucia Estuary. It is the only village totally surrounded by a Natural World Heritage Site.

Wonderful place.
We arrived at 9am very tired after travelling from England. Although we were not supposed to check in until 2pm our room was available so we were immediately shown to our room and offered breakfast which was excellent. Very knowledgeable and accommodating host. Lovely room. Even made a breakfast pack for us as we were going on a bird watching tour at 5am.
Highly recommended.

We went to St Lucia Villa Mia 5 to recover after operation. Absolutely beautiful place. Our own private braai area right at pool. Due to my medical condition we could not go out but our hosts arranged food delivery for us from nearly all the restaurants in St Lucia. One night there was guests that were intoxicated and loud. We informed our hosts who in return got the caretaker at the property in minutes and he resolved the issue. Will definitely book again. Thanks to the workers at Villa Mia that were always willing to run and get us something we needed in town. It felt like home and we will always remember our trip. Next time we will definitely visit all the attractions that St Lucia has to offer.
