Area Information:
St Lucia is a lush area where nature-lovers can enjoy the outdoors and some experiences specific to the area. The owners own a boat and run tours along St Lucia. Night drives, ecological tours, bird-watching and Big 5 safaris can also be arranged, or guests can enjoy a bike ride, getting a closer perspective on the area. A highlight of St Lucia during certain months is taking a turtle tour, where visitors hope to see the turtle hatch and make a scurry for the ocean.

Attractions:
There are a variety of local tours available, departing from Marlin Lodge with Shakabarker Tours. Tours include: World Heritage Tour, Chameleon Night Drive, Big 5 game drive, Turtle tours (in season from November to March), Whale watching (in season from June to November), hikes, bike rides, boat cruises, deep sea fishing, horse riding and many more. There is plenty to do within the Greater St. Lucia Wetland Park but for those of you that would like to venture out to the surrounding area's, there are many places to visit. Cape Vidal - 34km, Hluhluwe/Imfolozi game reserve - 55km, Kosi Bay - 260km, Sodwana Bay - 170km, Richards Bay - 78km, Shakaland - 150km, Durban - 252km, Kruger National Park - 700km, Swaziland Border - 185km.
