Goblin’s Creek, situated in the quiet peaceful surroundings of the well known fishing village of St Helena Bay, a stones throw away from Shelly Point, Golden Mile, Britannia Bay, a 2 min walk from the beach, and a short 20km drive from Paternoster. Goblins Creek welcomes guests from all over, and as you enter the communal open living area, a spacious and very comfortable sitting room beckons, with huge overstuffed sofas, invitingly, enticing you to snuggle up cosily with a good book and liqueur in front of a huge roaring log fire in winter, or equally inviting in summertime, light and airy, with French doors opening onto the large surrounding veranda and garden. Close by in the beautiful garden is a choice of 2 swimming pools for you to cool off on those hot summer days, or just lounge around relax and sunbathe or take a glass of wine up to the secluded tree deck overlooking the ocean.
A spacious open plan well-equipped kitchen (communal) invites for self-catering use. There is a complimentary basic self help breakfast available, which consists of tea, coffee and cereals. There are games and books available for a relaxed time in front of the log fireplace.
Goblin’s Creek boasts two light and airy garden rooms and four magnificent bedrooms in the main house, designed for the romantic at heart.
The garden rooms are in the back garden of Goblin's Creek with access through the main house. Each room has a beautiful view over the huge garden and our sanctuary animals. These light and spacious rooms have king size beds which can be converted to two single beds. The en-suite bathrooms both have a shower, and these 2 rooms are the only rooms at Goblins Creek that have TV's. The fully equipped communal kitchen at the main house as well as all other amenities are at your disposal.
Each of the 4 rooms in the main house have huge four-poster beds with puffy duvets and white percale linen and of course a log fireplace. Each room also has an open plan bathroom with old-fashioned ball and claw baths (but no showers or TV's). Drift off to sleep to the sound of the waves of the nearby beach and the calling of the owls.
Plenty of parking places are available in front of the house. The huge garden offers everyone a perfect spot where you can relax in the shade or in the sun after a refreshing swim in the pool. The cozy braai-room, decorated with fishing accessories and fishnets, is the perfect place to end a great day.

very nice
Thank you Rosi, Brett, Lillian and Cathy for your amazing hospitality and care. Goblins is definitely an oasis and a unique jewel in St Helena.
Absolutely nothing wrong with this excellent place of beauty. Friendly people working there, totally relaxed atmosphere, kitchen open for anyone to use, a lovely braai hut for guests to use and, to top everything, a host of animals ranging from huge tortoises, a crane bird, steenbokkies, chickens, cats etc.
I would avoid booking room 7 (the 'Owl Room') especially in the summer. There is a water pump right at the front door that runs all night, and if you're a light sleeper, it will disturb you if you sleep with your door open. In winter it shouldn't really be a problem. I will definitely go there again if I needed accommodation in St Helena Bay and I will definitely recommend it.

St Helena Bay Reviews
Nice vibe
Quaint place with great landscape. Very convenient restaurants & eating places with superb & friendly staff.
The whole area and places to see.
Scenic drives. Clean and modern SPAR supermarket. But generally DEAD - no coffee shops or restaurants. The hotel at St Helena was closed and Paternoster do not accept dogs at their outdoor eating facilities. The historic landmark at the landing place of Vasco da Gama at St Helena Bay was a meeting place for vagrants, and had a pile of litter and very little appeal. Nothing whatsoever to do in St Helena Bay.
Quite, clean, safe and beautiful!
Great place and so peaceful!
Its a very clean and quite place to be.
The calmness.
Very peaceful in St Helena Bay.
Tranquil/Peaceful. Relaxing/Calming. Fresh Air. Stunning Scenery.
