The accommodation comprises: 7 double bedrooms with queen-size beds, (3 Deluxe rooms with TV and 4 without); Two twin rooms with king-size beds or 2 single beds by arrangement; One Wheel chair friendly twin room with TV and one honeymoon suite with a king-size bed, a kitchenette, full DStV and a sitting room.
In Room Facilities:All rooms are en-suite, have private entrances and are equipped with coffee- and tea-making facilities. Electric blankets are supplied for the challenging winter temperatures. There are servers and additional seating in the Deluxe rooms as well as outside seating to soak up the Clarens environment. The lodge prides itself on comfortable and affordable accommodation.
Area Information:The lodge is situated close to all amenities as well as various shops and restaurants. Clarens is the art capital of South Africa and is close to the Golden Gate National Park.

Excellent facilities. Beautiful view from the deck.
Very nice neat and clean. Hostess and staff very helpful and kind. Breakfast was normal but very nice. I will really make use of their service again. Thanks you for making our short stay of 2 days feel like a holiday

Ash river lodge is a great place to stay, beautiful views and value for money.
Travelling from East London to the Royal Natal National Park. Stayed over in Clarens at Ash River Lodge. Room was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was good. Host accommodated us after normal check in times which was greatly appreciated!
It's an excellent place to stay. Lallies and George are great hosts, rooms and facilities is stunning. Will definitely be back.

Small, quaint, but very lively little town with spectacular views all around. Hiking is a must and can be done on the edge of town. We stayed at Views and the hiking trail was on our back door. Beautiful, beautiful little town offering great food, culture, entertainment and beautiful hiking trails.
