When it’s time to escape the chaos of the city, head to Agulhas to reclaim your soul. Here, where the Indian Ocean meets the Atlantic, and the sea meets the mountain, is a luxurious, tranquil guest house. Agulhas Ocean House is located on a gentle curve at the entrance to Agulhas and looks over glorious, unobstructed seascapes.
In Room Facilities:Accommodation is offered in 5 spacious, individually styled rooms, each with its own private outdoor seating area and en-suite bathroom, all pay tribute to the glory of the ocean. 4 of the rooms have spectacular sea views and 1 has a view of the mountain and fynbos. All rooms contain king-size beds, DStV, free Wi-Fi, heaters for winter and fans for summer. Guests are welcomed with a delightful treats tray. All rooms are serviced daily.
Area Information:The small town of Agulhas lies on the famous rocky headland of Cape Agulhas in the Western Cape. This stretch of coastline is world-renowned as the southernmost tip of Africa, and the official divide between the Atlantic and Indian Oceans. Situated just 3 hours from Cape Town, Agulhas offers exciting natural and historical attractions and a dramatic landscape.

An airy communal lounge with both sea and mountain panoramas has a cosy fireplace for winter nights. The secluded, indigenous garden attracts flocks of birds: this is a place where there is time to watch the birds, smell the fynbos and feel at peace.

Breakfast is served in the dining room daily. Fresh fruits, croissants and freshly prepared eggs are on the daily menu. Special dietary requests are accommodated with prior notice.

Allan and Sheryl were amazing hosts, really going the extra mile. Accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean. I definitely recommend them.
What a wonderful gem. Allan and Sheryl are so hospitable and friendly and made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. Sheryl's bubbly personality and Allan's excellent story telling and wicked sense of humor make for a fun weekend. It was just what we needed after 2020 lockdown etc etc etc. A scrumptious breakfast, home made jams to die for and the most comfortable, and huge bed (violet whale room) are just a few of the things we got to enjoy. Thank you for being so lovely ensuring we had the best stay ever. We shall be back ❤️
