Located about 80 kilometers north of Cape Town, set against the majestic Kasteelberg mountains and rolling plains of the Valley, you come across the quaint yet stylish accommodation, called Potpourri Guest House.

Potpourri Guest House also boasts its own art gallery located in Riebeek Kasteel, called Galerie d’ART, and we welcome you to view more information on our esteemed gallery.

In this old shed you can browse through a delightful shopping experience where old meets new again. Also find the deli called “the two old cows” for some country treats like homemade jams, rusks, ginger biscuits and much more.

Conveniences, between the two towns, are endless and should you need to stock up on anything for your stay, there is a Spar to accommodate those needs literally 500 meters away.

The Riebeek Valley is renowned for its gorgeous wedding locations of which Groenrivier function centre and Allesverloren function venue is only a mere 500m either way. With rolling hills and stretches of farmland and vineyards, endless mountain views and local events which take advantage of all of these on a yearly basis. Annual events consist of the famous Olive Festival held at the beginning of May, the Berg River Canoe Marathon in July, Shiraz & Art weekend, PPC Marathon and the Spring Festival to name but a few.

Riebeek West and the Riebeek Valley has incredible places to run, walk and cycle. Not forgetting all the amazing wineries and olive groves in the area. Do come visit and enjoy some country peace and space!
