Enjoy great hospitality and a taste of history at the Lord Grey Guesthouse, a Nineteenth Century Victorian Homestead named in honour of Sir George Grey, KCB, Cape Governor 1854 - 1861.
With seven bedrooms laid out around an open plan Lounge and Dining area, the Lord Grey has the feel of a home rather than a guesthouse, allowing guests to relax in a more informal setting than with larger venues.
Our guest rooms are clean and comfortable. What more do you need?
I guess I could also mention the comfy double or twin beds with electric blankets & warm duvets, the high Victorian ceilings, with antique ceiling fans, flat screen TV with multiple channels, en-suite bathrooms, free wifi, ad-lib tea/coffee and biscuits, or our delicious full English breakfast or country dinner as well, but that would just be boasting...
Quoted rates are for bed only, breakfasts and dinners can be booked separately. Secure parking on the premises.
