We thoroughly enjoyed the stay. Friendly staff, great location and a stunning view of the park. The made a wonderful cake for my daughter’s birthday. Sitting in the pool watching an elephant lumber by was a magical experience we will never forget. Also the food is great, both breakfast and dinner.

What a find, we wanted somewhere to stay that gave us the full African game experience that we wanted. The pictures on the website didn't do it justice, to be able to sit on the desk in the early evening with a glass of wine or a Gin and tonic watching the game walking past was something we had never imagined. The staff were outstanding, very attentive and always on hand to help when needed. Our bedroom was great too, lovely huge comfy bed and air-con if needed or an overhead fan to keep the air moving around. We really loved the location, not only great views but well located to be able to drive to the Kruger park and to the near by town for extra supplies if needed.

From the time we arrived till we left the staff at the lodge were amazing. So friendly and extremely helpful. What a fantastic location, not far from the main road in the park and the view from the deck was breathtaking. To be able to sit having breakfast and watch game both in and out of Kruger wonder past was something we had never expected. The room was idea for our stay, lovely huge bath to soak in after a day in the game park. Our room had a lovely comfy bed too, a great nights sleep each night while there. Dinner under the stars added to the experience, with great home cooked meals in the evening at a reasonable price. We both felt that the pictures on the site did not do the place justice, it was very worth the visit and we cannot recommend it enough.

Nice and quiet, with game walking around the area.
We saw Impala, Kudu, Warthog, Zebra, Giraffe and Wildebeest.
A short drive of 3 minutes takes you to the Olifants river where you can watch all animals going down to the river to drink.
Its also only 17km from Olifants Gate at Komatipoort to go into the Kruger Park.
