Our owner managed luxury upmarket guesthouse has a 3-star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of S.A and is situated off the main road (N1) in a very quiet area, only 2.5 hours drive from Cape Town.
A choice of 30 luxury rooms offering 17 single rooms with one double bed, 9 twin room with two double beds per room plus 4 family rooms which sleeps 4 or 6. Our annex offers self-catering units with fully equipped kitchens and BBQ area.
In Room Facilities:All accommodation offers air-conditioning, wireless internet, DSTV, tea/coffee facilities and honesty bar.
Area Information:Laingsburg is a year-round destination situated between rugged hills and vast plains. This friendly Karoo village is the gateway to the Great Karoo and has a proud tradition of old-fashioned hospitality.

Attractions:Laingsburg is a Karoo town where you can come to relax, drink coffee on a sunny stoep and idly contemplate life. Our town has little gems to offer tourists. Visit our Flood Museum and artwork that commemorate the 1981 Flood, stop off at our monthly farmers market or the local Karoo cuisine coffee shop that is run by a chef. Find two Geo-caching stops, or visit a nature reserve that offers horse trails!

In general it was a very pleasant stay. My family and I enjoyed the place.
It will perhaps be more confortable if there could be only tap to allow hot and cold water in the same tap. This will make the shower more pleasant and encourageable for the kids ;-)
We had to make a last minute booking here as a stopover on our way out of the country just before the 21-day coronavirus lockdown. Frankly, we were desperate as so many accommodations had already begun the preparation and were not accepting guests. The staff was friendly and helpful, the room clean, and the bed and bedding extremely comfortable. Our only problem was the electric hookups because we couldn't get our adapter to stay in to the plug no matter what we tried. A minor thing, but enough to be a problem when we really needed our phones to be charged. We could have called for help, but felt there were much bigger problems that people had in these trying times. Thank you for being there for us Laing Lodge.
