We offer different accommodation on the farm as we love it so much we realised what fun it is to share it with others.
You can choose from The Herb Cottage which is one of two self-catering cottages has space for 4 or 5 people and has its own swimming pool and braai/BBQ facilities, and well equipped kitchen. There is a lovely walk along the river.
Frida's View has space for 4 and a deck with a great view, a private pool and braai/BBQ area.
Then if you love to camp, Coral Tree Camp is the place for you – some people have called it “glamping” but its really laid back camping with perfect views and facilities. You book out the whole campsite but it is only accessible with a 4 x 4. And is pet friendly.
The farm grows avocados, macadamias and herbs and is surrounded by indigenous forest, disappearing up the mountainsides into the mist. You can walk around to explore the area, or visit the Glass Art Studio which is centrally located at the workshop.
It is not recommended to bring a car with low profile tyres on our dirt road but normal sedans will manage to get to the Herb Cottage and Frida's View easily. The campsite is reached only with a 4 x 4 vehicle.
Please note we only take two night stays over weekends.
In Room Facilities:Cosy beds, fireplace in the Herb Cottage and Frida's View.
Private swimming pools at all the cottages.
Wonderful open bathroom at the campsite - stunning view from the shower.
Good lighting
Bedside pedastals
Bedside lamps
En-suite bathrooms with bath, basin and toilet.
Dressing table and mirror.
* Mountain Biking:
This is a fantastic area for mountain biking, with exquisite scenery. Routes range from laid-back to seriously challenging. There are several major bike races during the year which are very popular as well as laid out trails. The Herb Cottage is well situated for your biking enjoyment in the Haenertsburg area and surrounding mountains.
* The Kruger Park:
The biggest game reserve in the country is only 1 ½ hours away, so a day trip is an easy option, going via Tzaneen and Phalaborwa. Or why stop there – you can go through the game reserve directly into Mozambique and on to the coast!
* Debegeni Waterfalls:
Lovely natural waterfalls ½ an hour away – take a picnic and your swimming gear. Enjoy the majesty of the falls, where you can walk, braai, swim and sunbathe or just relax to the sound of the rushing water. The birds and butterflies are abundant so look out for the Cambridge Blue butterfly or Mountain Wagtails flitting between the pools.
* Golf and other Sports:
For the golfer there is the beautiful Tzaneen Country Club, offering a challenging 18 holes. The famous Merensky Golf course at Phalaborwa (where lions , elephant and other wildlife often join your four ball) and the Polokwane course are top class venues and bowls, squash, tennis and horse riding are also available.
* Fishing:
Magoebaskloof has some of the most stunning trout waters in the country. You can fish the local dams and rivers by prior arrangement with the Haenertsburg Trout Association or private land owners. Brown and Rainbow trout populate the waters. For bass, carp, kurper and yellowfish the nearby Tzaneen and Ebernezer dams offer wonderful sport, and spectacular birds and wildlife.
* Braai/BBQ facilities
* Swimming pool
* Privacy
* Beautiful, expansive garden offering plenty of shade
* Mountain views
* Trees:
We are surrounded by wonderful indigenous forests, through which you can wander and enjoy these incredible trees. A tree lover's delight – Forest Fever trees, Tree fucias, Waterberries, Wild Figs, Matumis and Mitserie are but a few of the stunning trees you will encounter on our lovely river walk. Woodbush forest is on our doorstep, second biggest indigenous forest in SA.
* Animals:
As we live in a forest, there are still wild animals to be seen. Bush buck and bush pig footprints are regularly spotted in the mud along the river, and porcupine often leave a quill or two along the road. We also get civets, genets and honey badgers. Endangered Samango monkeys are abundant and you can hear them chattering in the trees.
* Butterflies:
The butterflies around here make this a magical place if you just take time to watch them drift past. Watch a lovely mocker swallowtail flit around the pineapple sage or a yellow pansy sunning itself on the deck or a mother of pearl gleaming in the forest. Lekgalameetse Nature reserve is nearby where even more can be spotted and it’s a good place to take a picnic for the day!
* Birds:
You will hear or if you are lucky SEE The elusive Narina Trogan in September and October. This is the forest birding paradise! Sightings of Black Fronted Bush Shrikes, Orange Thrushes , Green Twinspots , Purple and Knysna louries, Grey Headed parrots , Long Crested , Crowned and Black Eagle are just a few of the more than 150 species recorded here.
* Don't forget to visit the Glass Art Studio

The peace and quiet. Drinking coffee early morning while looking at the misty kloof.
We stay on a powered site with our caravan. Easy to get onto it, plus car space. The staff are fantastic and are ready to help you if needed. The facilities are spotless and well maintained. The swimming pool is fenced for safety. Outdoor kitchen is good. Beautiful waterfront cabins. There is a walking track to the Greenwell Point Bowling Club nearby if you want to go out for the day or night. Good fishing in the River. We go there every year.
The site and facilities are great We did have a bit of a problem with solar lights but this was due to lack of sunshine and mist.
Heaven on earth!!! 4x4, wonderful location, sublime atmosphere an great facilities.
My husband and I went camping with our two border collies. It's very private and the facilities are handy. The four of us went walking in the mountains and spent late nights by the fire. It really is a little piece of heaven on earth.
Right on the water with a jetty and boat ramp in the caravan park. Amenities are spotless. Very friendly staff. Bowling club next door has a bistro and an excellent Chinese restaurant. Will come back for sure.
Ons het die tyd by Coral Tree Campsite vreeslik geniet. Die geriewe is puik en die uitsig fantasties.
Love everything about this camping spot. It is our favourite.
We stayed here just on a month and our stay was excellent. We had a great site an easy walk to the bowling club which has excellent meals.
The park has a great boat ramp and jetty you can fish of.
A large swimming pool and very clean amenities.
Would highly recommend for a holiday.
Top spot, clean quiet and very pretty. Amenities are amazing, clean spotless. Great swimming, very good boat ramp and loads of fish near the jetty. Couldn't say a bad thing about the park one of the best I have stayed at.

Scenic.
We loved our stay at Lind-End, we stayed in the Studio which was very pleasing with its modern decor and facilities. Apple TV with Netflix, Prime Video and Showmax. A Braai Area, and a outside deck with an amazing view of the George's Valley. They have a gorgeous pool on the site which is shared with other guest, we were lucky that we had the farm to our self for the most part. Our host Samantha was excellent, and provided us with lots of ideas of what to do in the area. We enjoyed many walks in the mist and rain and in the sunshine right from outside the Lind-end Gate, and also loved the Louis Changouin Trail from Haenertsburg. Would definitely be back again.

Beautiful forests, dams and good options available to eat out!
Visited the Berry farm to pick organic Berries, and really enjoyed lunch and cheese cake at the restaurant.
Also visited Pot and Plaugh for their very famous pizza.
Scenery!!!!! Fruit!!!!
Nature!
The scenery and friendly people in Magoebaskloof.
