Plett Forest Cabins & Wedding Venue is located on a privately owned farm, close to the Harkerville Forest, between Plettenberg Bay & Knysna. The rustic cabins are ideal for couples or families looking for comfortable yet informal lodging away from the city's hustle and bustle.
Accommodation options include 6 fully furnished, fully equipped cabins each with private braai facilities.
The two Honeymoon Log Cabins sleep 2 adults, are tucked away in the forest overlooking the pool. Each open-plan cabin with a queen-size bed has a Jacuzzi Spa bath in the bathroom.
The 3 standard 2 bedroom family cabins sleep 4 adults and 2 children, are facing the newly tarred Airport Road with their backs to the forest. Each cabin has a queen-size bed, 2 singles and a double sleeper couch, and each has a Jacuzzi Spa bath in the bathroom.
The one large family cabin sleeps up to 7 adults and 2 children in 2 bedrooms, both are en-suite with showers. The 1 large bedroom contains a queen-size and 2 single beds, the other bedroom contains a king-size, 1 single bed and a double sleeper couch.
Parking is situated in the car park 75 to 150 m from the cabins and not at the cabins.
Wi-Fi is limited and cellphone signal is very weak as we are in a dip.
The accommodation provides trolleys to move luggage from the cars to the cabins. On-site facilities include a selection of DVDs and board games, a swimming pool and a secure kiddies play area. Guests are also welcome to enjoy bird watching, are welcome to feed the fallow deer (bring apples, carrots and grapes).
In Room Facilities:All cabins are fully equipped with linen, towels, cutlery, crockery, a fridge, mini table top stove and microwave.
5 of the 6 cabins have Jacuzzi Baths. The 6th, a two bedroomed unit overlooking the dam, has en-suite showers.
Each cabin has a private outside braai and seating area.
For the adrenaline junkies, Plett Forest Cabins offers 10% discount vouchers for a number of activities in the area, including Tsitsikamma Falls Adventures, AfriCanyon and Tsitsikamma Canopy Tours.
Property Facilities:Activities include kids play area and swimming in the pool. The Harkerville mountain biking trails are only 2kms away.
Parents with small children bring your cameras with, the tame fallow deer will be soon be eating out of your children’s hands and you will want to catch their facial expressions on camera.
For family outings, Plett Forest Cabins offers 10% discount vouchers to see the Elephants, Monkeyland, Birds of Eden and the wild cats at Teniqua and Jukani.

What a great experience. The Log Cabins closest to the forest are the best to stay in. It's peaceful, quiet and tranquil. And the fact that the cell phone signal is bad worked in our favor as it forced us to be without technology and be one with nature. No disturbances. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating. We really enjoyed our stay.

Dit is werklik 'n plekkie vir rus en uitspan in die natuur. Rustige atmosfeer, heerlike verblyf, vleisbraai, stilte, naggeluide wat jou heerlik laat slaap. Veilig, niemand pla niemand, bokkies is pragtig en kom af en toe 'n kossie vra. Eet sommer uit jou hand. Personeel is vriendelik en behulpsaam. Beddegoed heerlik en skoon en linne word weekliks geruil.
My family and I visited for the weekend and it was relaxing, very quiet and my kids enjoyed themselves, they loved the freedom and being able to feed the animals and just relaxing.
