Eagles’ Call is a birder’s paradise which can be found midway between Wilderness and Sedgefield on a small farm tucked between the Langvlei and Rondevlei lakes; both an integral part of the Wilderness National Park.

Guests have the option of three units in this beautiful neck of the woods, the Eagles’ Call Cottage and Chalet are surrounded by an indigenous garden fed by crystal-clear water. The Tent is a more rustic option for those with a taste for adventure.

The Cottage and The Chalet are cottage-style units with self-catering facilities and great braai areas, while the Tent is ideal for those wanting to escape the city life and be more in touch with their natural surroundings.

Rondevlei and Malachite bird hides are within walking distance and ideal for birders.

There is approximately 5km of sand road from the N2.

PLEASE NOTE THAT CHILDREN UNABLE TO SWIM WILL NOT BE ACCOMMODATED.

Very peaceful setting. Cottage was clean, spacious and well presented. Wood and fire-lighter provided for the braai was a pleasant surprise, as was the washing machine! Hosts were helpful, friendly and discreet. All in all, a very good stay. Certainly good value for money.

Wilderness offers a wide variety of activities for all ages with an abundance of hiking trails, canoe offerings and paragliding available, whilst being surrounded by some of the most pristine beaches our country has to offer. If you love nature and adventure, Wilderness is your playground. For daytrips, you have the option of visiting neighbouring areas including George, Sedgefield, Knysna and Plettenberg. This is definitely a home away from home.
