The beautiful Far Niente Beachfront Guesthouse is a historical landmark situated on Wilderness Beach, offering the ultimate unforgettable beach holiday experience. The charming house, which reflects the history and loving care of five generations, will make you feel totally at home the moment you enter its doors. Taletha, who lives in a separate apartment on the property, is there to welcome you and ensure you have a comfortable, relaxed and carefree stay.

Far Niente can accommodate up to 9 guests in total. The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 en-suite bathrooms, 1 full separate bathroom and a guest toilet. The house is fully furnished and has a relaxed open-space central living area with a large, fully equipped kitchen. The living room opens up through a large glass sliding door onto a stunning sea-facing patio and terrace. A few steps down from the terrace leads to the beautiful beach. General facilities include a dishwasher, ironing equipment, as well as basic satellite TV. Beach towels are also provided for your convenience.

Kindly note that the house is available as an exclusive unit, ideal for a family or a group, or alternatively as two separate units, each with its own entrance and access to the terrace.

Apartment 1:
The smaller unit has its own private entrance and consists of a double bedroom with a queen size bed and magnificent sea views, a fully equipped kitchenette with a couch / narrow slouch single bunk, a full bathroom and a guest toilet. The bedroom opens onto a covered verandah leading onto the terrace with stunning views. Basic satellite TV is available.

Apartment 2:
The larger unit also has its own private entrance and consists of a large open living room and a fully equipped kitchen (including dishwasher), two double bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and a TV room, now a 3rd bedroom, with 2 single beds. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen size bed with magnificent sea views, and opens onto a patio which leads onto the front sea-facing terrace. It also has a full en-suite bathroom. The second bedroom offers twin single beds and an en-suite bathroom with shower only. Guests in the third bedroom makes use of one of the en-suite bathrooms from the other two bedrooms. A large glass sliding door leads from the open plan living room onto the front sea-facing patio and terrace.

Far Niente was originally built by, and for a large family back in 1933, and it still retains its nature as a home from home, catering for all ages. It has been awarded a 3 Star grading from the Tourism Grading Council of South Africa.

”Far Niente” is 1 km from Wilderness Village, where there is a Mini Market, Laundromat, Post Office, Pharmacy, Information Bureau and numerous small shops. There are also a variety of good restaurants for your convenience. The Garden Route Shopping Mall in Eastern George is 7km away, where you will find a Supermarket, over 300 shops, banks, cinemas and more restaurants. George Airport is about 16 km away.
