A very comfortable night's stay provided at short notice. Thanks very much.
Comfortable, clean and quiet.. enjoyed the electric blanket.. friendly host..
The cottage was clean, comfortable, well supplied, with lovely large towels and full DSTV menu - more than we expected. Our host, Richard was welcoming and extremely helpful with new contacts for all sorts of things as we have just relocated to the area.
We'll definitely recommend Leafy Lane to friends.
Awesome little find. Clean comfy and accommodating staff. Everything was great.
Stayed at Leafy Lane over a long weekend and was very impressed. The apartment was very comfortable and had all the necessary amenities. Hosts were welcoming and had the answers to any questions. The guesthouse is located off the main road, in a tranquil cul de sac but located within a 2 minute drive to shops and restaurants. Would highly recommend to anyone needing accommodation in Howick and will stay there again if I am in the area.
If you're visiting Howick there's no place better than Leafy Lane. The owner's are lovely people!
The owner's Richard & Lynn are the nicest people on Earth!! They made us feel like family! And the cottage we stayed in was beautiful & very cozy!
My wife and I think we have found THE place to stay in Howick on our frequent trips to the coast, on business.
The entire package was excellent and the hosts, Lynn and Richard are a lovely, dedicated and professional couple who provided one of the best breakfasts we have had for a very long time.' The bed was particularly comfortable and we slept really well; something that is not always automatic, sleeping in strange environments. We loved our stay, Thank you both.
We had a beautiful stay & my partner won't stop bragging about it. We loved every minute of it & host was very helpful. The location central & close to everything. Special place when you want to get away from your busy schedule.
Just TOO many pluses to mention. Richard and Lynn are a fantastic couple who provided EVERYTHING we wanted in our stay. Indeed, the bed was almost as good as the one at home, which means it was the best we have ever had on our travels.
The breakfast was truly a tasty treat, top class ingredients, perfectly cooked and served with toast and home made Marmalade. VERY good, certainly better than many restaurants and again, the best we have had in many years travel.
Thank you for the wonderful, warm welcome, the natural homeliness and great feeling that stayed with us long after we had left.
Richard and Lynn were fantastic hosts, had amazing breakfast. Even had Old Brown Sherry in our rooms as a welcome drink. Made you feel at home.

Howick Reviews
Howick is very limited in what it offers... best to drive out to spots in the surrounding Midlands areas...
Midmar dam, Nelson Mandela capture site, stunning restaurants and shops.
Pleasant little country village to stop in and see the Howick falls.
We enjoyed our lunch at the Farmer's Daughter restaurant... dog friendly too.
Snow, the area, horse play, the lakes.
The atmosphere and the people were friendly.
It is a Pensioners haven. Thought I was in a colossal retirement home. Very nice and everyone is friendly.
