Best place to stay, friendly hosts. Lots of extras. Beautiful garden and orchards. My dog and I had a great stay for two weeks.
Amazing peaceful week we had. Host friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend cottage on long. Something to think about installing a hot tub next to the cottage.
What a nice little cottage for a couple getaway. Perfect location and restaurants practically walking distance. Welcome drink was a surprise. The host made us feel very welcome. Thanks will visit again in the future

What a wonderful experience! We have travelled extensively, domestically as well as abroad, and I can honestly say our stay at Cottage on Long was one of the best places we have ever stayed. It is so beautifully manicured and serene. The amenities provided, were absolutely outstanding and totally exceeded any expectations we may have had. Everyone in our party loved it and we will definitely stay there again.
It was an awesome weekend and everything was perfect. Real farm atmosphere and the hosts and their dogs were very friendly. The setting is gorgeous and would definitely tell more of my friends to go and enjoy their weekend in Cottage on Long.

Beautiful & tranquil cottage... so well equipped and maintained. Amazing views of the surrounding mountains. Loved that the cottage is pet friendly. Enjoyed every minute of our weekend break away.
We had a wonderful time at Cottage on Long. Such a charming and cosy cottage. We appreciated all the little details that Sonya attended to. The setting is just perfect. And a bonus not to be too affected by loadshedding as the solar panel, battery and gas stove were more than adequate for even stage 6!

The tranquility, historical few places, cleanliness and friendly inhabitants.
Came up to Montagu for a climbing course with Blue Mountain Adventures and stayed at the Tolhuis with two friends. It was just perfect. Firstly the location, it was only mere meters away from our first day's location for climbing , LEGOLAND. We could literally stop and walk up to our accommodation for a coffee and lunch break! The place itself was just perfect for the 3 of us. Great little braai area where we enjoyed our evenings and the place is simple and humble yet stylish! The hosts, Michelle, Ivan, and Jason their 6-month-old puppy were just very warm and accommodating. Thank you!
