The private double storey cottage is located on Copperleigh Farm in the Midlands of KZN, and overlooks the trout stocked Mavela Dam which guests have free access to. The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room are located on the ground floor, as is the garage and guest toilet.
Three bedrooms are located upstairs, two have queen size beds which sleep 2 adults each, the loft room has a bunk bed and queen size bed which are suitable for 4 kids or 2 kids and 2 adults sharing. The 2 bathrooms have a shower & toilet in each.
Complimentary WiFi, DSTV Premium, and a stack of firewood provided each morning. Enjoy the welcome basket which has some tea, coffee and other treats for when you arrive.
Copperleigh Trout Cabin has 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom, and an open plan lounge and kitchen area. Relax on the spacious verandah. The cabin has it's own private access, and guests will love the great view over the dam.

Cottage: Free access to Mavela Dam from your own garden. Please bring your own fly fishing rods and equipment to fish for trout. Sit on top kayak is provided at no extra charge to paddle on the dam or to fish with.
Large lawn and garden area around the front, side and back of the cottage which is fenced although the dam is open with no fence in front to spoil your view. There is a small stream running along the edge of the garden into the dam.
Cabin: has a smaller garden with outside braai. Kayak is provided.
Should you choose to swim in the dam, please bring swimming towels as they are not provided.
There are some scenic walks you can take on the farm.
The sheep can be seen going out to pasture at 7:30am and return in the afternoon for feeding time. Small farmyard animals close to the cottage for the younger kids to see.
