18 on Douglas is located in a seaside village of Pennington and it provides comfortable self-catering accommodation. It is only a short walk to the main beach, and there are other trails in the area including the indigenous Umdoni forest. Fishing is good, and there are several golf courses in the immediate area.The many trees in the area mean prolific bird life.
Accommodation is offered in 2 self-catering units, one upstairs and one downstairs.
The Downstairs Unit can accommodate up to 4 guests and it contains two bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchenette and dining area.
The Upstairs Unit can accommodate up to 6 guests and comprises three bedrooms, a large kitchen and living area, and a large balcony. DStv easy view is available in both of the units. Bring your own DSTV decoder if required, cables for standard and Explorer decoders available. Uncapped Wi-Fi and battery backup.

This was a lovely place to stay for a week at the coast. Our hosts, Dion and Pieter, were attentive but never intrusive. We had ample space and everything we needed.

Nice, clean, pleasant environment!
Beautiful area, lovely long beach with large tidal pool for kids and separate rocky areas to explore. Not too crowded. Town itself is friendly and small but has everything you need.
Convenient close to Durban.
