We offer six luxurious individually decorated spacious bedrooms, one luxurious disabled bedroom, and one luxuriously decorated self-catering unit. All bedrooms are en-suite.
We offer our guests a variety of facilities to use. There is a swimming pool to cool off in in the heat of summer, there are "braai" facilities, safe parking and your pets are welcome. A full farm-style breakfast is included in our rates and dinner can be provided on request. A la Carte Restaurant on the premises, please book dinners in advance.
Namaqualand is known for its spring flowers, rare succulents, unique indigenous plants, rich history, hospitality, unreal rock formations and the Richtersveld. We are only one hour's drive from the Namibian border and nearly half way between Cape Town, RSA and Windhoek, Namibia.
Springbok is the biggest town in the northern Namaqualand. It boasts a Spar, Shoprite, 5 fuel stations, all major banks with ATM's and vehicle repair centres. There is a well developed tourism infrastructure. Daisy Country Lodge is situated 4 km outside Springbok. There are 6 restaurants in Springbok ranging in quality and price. No French cuisine, only steak houses and the like. Springbok also has take-away restaurants.
In Room Facilities:
Our spacious rooms are individually decorated with original artwork and have en-suite bathrooms with either a bath, a shower or both. High quality white linen with down duvets and pillows, air-conditioning, heaters and/or fireplaces inside rooms and bathrooms, DSTV, stocked bar fridges, tea/coffee making facilities and hairdryers. Some rooms have private outside entrances and porches with private BBQ facilities.
You can take walks in the surrounding Koppies, cycle, ride horses or run freely in the valleys. We can arrange: Horse Trails, Picnics, Flower, Historical and Mining Tours, Hiking, 4X4, Richtersveld Tours, River Rafting, Quad Biking, Golfing, etc. There's enough reason to spend a couple of days here to visit the Skilpad Wildflower Nature Reserve, particularly in August and September, the Augrabies waterfall, the Goegap Nature Reserve, the Blue mine - Springbok's first mine, and the war graves from the Anglo Boer War.
