At Presidensie Guest Rooms, our facilities consist of five private and secure, stylish, north facing comfortable en suite double rooms with DSTV, wi-fi, microwave, fridge, coffee/tea facilities and private and secure parking. Each room has its own private patio.
It was built during 2012 and is situated in the university town of Potchefstroom and located in a tranquil and very private neighbourhood, merely within walking distance of the impressive Senwes Cricket Stadium, the Potchefstroom campus of the Northwest University, the Aardklop Festival terrain and the Fanie du Toit sports terrain. It is also ideally close to the MooiMed hospital and Multi Care (600m), Mediclinic (2,7km), Olën Park Rugby Stadium (2,7km), Kenneth McArthur Athletics Stadium (2,4km), Mooi Rivier Shopping Mall (2,3km), the Astro hockey field (1,9km) and various other amenities such as coffee shops and restaurants.
Presidensie Guest Rooms is directly adjacent to the President Pretorius Museum. It is believed that President MW Pretorius built this old Cape-style dwelling with its coach house, stable and smithy in 1868. The homestead with its tranquil farmyard recalls an urban Boer culture which has long since disappeared. You will experience the same tranquillity and security of those long-gone days when you stay with us.
