Ons Boshuisie offers comfortable accommodation in a beautiful, self-catering bush cabin situated approximately 28 km outside Swartruggens in the North-West Province. The perfect, relaxing getaway with family or a small group of friends and ideal for nature lovers.
The cabin is set on a private 110 hectares bush camp and is hidden in a valley at the foot of a hillside, close to what is known as Klein Tafelkop with indigenous bush, trees and big rocks.
The kitchen is stocked with the basic eating and cooking utensils for your self-catering needs. There is a gas refrigerator and geyser for your convenience. To enhancing that bush feeling, cooking is done on the gas stove, or by the fireside. The cabin is kept close to nature with no electricity, however there is an on-site generator that is available for your personal use. The cabin is lit up with lights powered by solar panels, and also works for cell phone chargers. Very good 3G reception is available if needed.
Guests can unwind and listen to the singing of the birds, enjoy living outdoors, take long walks, with a good chance of seeing any one of our four species of antelope and some natural wildlife. For the adventurous type, guests can enjoy rock climbing and mountain bike rides. Admire the morning sunrise and evening sunset, all in the heart of the bush and undisturbed.
The roads are better suitable for high clearance vehicles, however if you do not have one, alternative transport can be provided, with which you will be taken to and from the bush lodge.
