Zuidste Huisie is a beautiful self-catering accommodation situated in the town of Struisbaai, part of the Langezandt Fisherman’s Village. Struisbaai is a coastal village boasting with the longest continuous stretch of white sand coastline in the Southern Hemisphere. The cottage is only 150 m away from the beach across the boardwalk.
Zuidste Huisie has a thatched roof and is built in the unique style of the original fisherman cottages of the area. The unit sleeps six guests in total and consists of three en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed. The second bedroom has twin single beds and the third room is an outside cottage with a queen-size bed. The cottage is fully equipped for self-catering with a fridge/freezer, microwave, stove and oven, washing machine, tumble-dryer and dishwasher. The kitchen flows onto an open-plan dining and lounge area containing a TV with selected DStv channels. The lounge and dining area opens onto the entertainment area, which is a covered pergola with a built-in braai.
On early morning walks during the month of June to December you may be greeted by the occasional southern right whale. The cottage is within walking distance from the beautiful Struisbaai harbour along the beach. There is also a lovely little seafood restaurant at the harbour where you can dine on some freshly caught fish.
Officially the point where the Atlantic and Indian Oceans meet, the waters off Cape Agulhas are known as the best fishing grounds in Southern Africa.
PLEASE NOTE there is an additional cleaning fee of R 550 that is NOT included in the quote.

This is the place to go to relax, has enough site seeing areas and good area to just unwind. Wish we had more time to spend.
The amazing scenery.
The friendliness and the people. The choice of beaches and being able to take my little ones to collect shells. The drive out of CPT to Struisbaai is stunning and of course seeing the most southern point of Africa and visiting the light House in Agulhas.
I enjoyed the absolute friendliness of the residents of Struisbaai. No one passes you without greeting. What
further pleased me is the safe environment. No worries of theft or break ins.
