MOUNTAIN LODGE (minimum booking of 10 persons): the original lodge developed between 2001 and 2006, operates exclusively as a venue for groups and the facilities are designed to cater for small conferences, board meetings or company breakaway weekends and team-building sessions.
The accommodation at Mountain Lodge include twelve air-conditioned suites, of which two are located in the main building and four pairs nestled against a slope overlooking the valley. Six of these chalet suites also have outdoor showers in addition to the en-suite bathrooms. All suites have private decks overlooking a ravine of unspoilt nature.

VALLEY LODGE (minimum booking of 8 persons): has recently undergone a complete renovation and operates as a luxury self catering venue for groups and families. These facilities are ideal for any of the following: Family get-togethers , Golfers wishing to play any one or more of the great golf courses in close proximity (Elements, Zebula and Euphoria)
Mountain bikers wishing to explore the many routes on and around the farm.
Small company breakaways.

EAGLES CAMP is situated on top of a hill behind Shakama Mountain lodge and consists of two en-suite “split level” cottages. Each cottage can accommodate three to four people (up to 7 in total sharing) , with two double beds and three single beds in the camp. There is a fully equipped communal kitchen and boma, with a vista of the majestic Waterberg Mountains and horizons of unspoilt nature. Two outdoor showers, privately tucked in behind the kitchen area, complete the camp.
The camp is serviced daily, and firewood, linen and towels are provided. The camp is only let as a unit to one group at a time.

The lodge and chalets are built against a slope - as a result stairs between different floor levels were unavoidable. The accommodation may therefore not be suitable for persons in wheelchairs.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES: Less than two hours drive from Johannesburg and Johannesburg International airport, Shakama Private Game Lodge is the ideal venue for small conferences, strategic planning sessions or simply getting away from it all. The Induna room offers the ideal setting for meetings (boardroom style) or seminars (classroom style) with white boards, overhead projector, TV, VCR and screens. This conference room offers comfortable seating for up to 30 delegates. The lodge area also offers comfortable seating areas for four break-away groups - and of course, lots of space outdoors.

RECREATION & LEISURE: Shakama offers the following recreational facilities: Bush drives Walking trails Swimming pool Volley ball and table tennis Pool table, board games and reading Stargazing Bird watching Clay pigeon shooting

WILDLIFE: The farm covers 640 hectares of natural landscape and lies in the centre of over 10 000 hectares of bushveld ranches. The owners have embarked on a programme, based on ecological study, to raise a number of indigenous game species. Right now there are over 17 species of game already roaming the farm including Zebra and (the elusive) Leopard, but excluding the members of the "Big 5" making it safe to take leisurely walks. Shakama is also home to a host of bird species which is bound to intrigue the avid bird watcher. Bush drives can be extended (subject to prior arrangement) to visit the adjoining farm to view Buffalo and Hippo (amongst other exotic species). Shakama is ideally suited for eco-tourism offering clear views of game and an endless variety of natural habitat.
