The Stone Cottage Guest House, originally built in 1896 by Fred Southey and recently restored by the current owners Ivan and Brenda Dell, is situated in the Karoo, Eastern Cape and is an ideal getaway from the rush.
Centrally situated in South Africa on the R56, a stone’s throw off the main routes between Durban – Cape Town and Johannesburg and Port Elizabeth.
It is an ideal farm stay offering luxurious yet rustic self-catering accommodation away from the hustle and bustle of the city.
We offer peace, tranquillity, silence, stargazing, bird watching, walking, hiking, cycling, board games, reading and just relaxing.
The Stone Cottage Guest House has 3 en-suite bedrooms and an open plan kitchen and living area. There is also a separate sun room / studio for those who want to be away from the rest of the family
